A Risky Occupation
Nadya married Marcos Gutierrez in 1996, the same year she graduated from Mt. San Antonio College with her psychiatric technician license. In addition, she began working at Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk, California, a psychiatric facility. The job was rewarding, but it wasn’t easy, and it was even dangerous at times. Nadya’s main goal was to start her own family, but she also wanted to have a fulfilling career. However, something unfortunate happened at work, and as a result, her life became a long roller-coaster ride.
