Contacting the tenant
Naturally, Ravaux was furious and opted to call the tenants on the phone to confront them. But the tenants seemed to be completely disconnected. The landlord continued to call again and again, but none of his calls were successful. He finally realized that the tenants were not responding to his calls and understood that it was a planned rather than an accident. The landlord tried to find the tenants during those 14 months, but they didn’t show up.

Visiting the apartment
After being patient for so long, the landlord decided to take action and confront the tenants in person. If the tenants refused to cooperate, he went to the apartment to talk to them and eventually evict them. However, his knocking also went unheard, just as his calls went unanswered. After much knocking, he discovered that the apartment was not occupied. He entered with his spare key. He only had to look around the apartment to realize that something very bad had happened.
