Hawaii – From Here to Eternity (1953)
It is no secret that Hawaii is a stunningly lovely location. From Here to Eternity was filmed in this state in 1953. It follows three American soldiers just before the attack on Pearl Harbor. Private Robert E. Lee Prewitt is moved to an Oahu rifle company and is punished for refusing to box for the regiment. Lilo and Stitch comes in second place in this military film.
Idaho – Napoleon Dynamite (2004)
With lines such as “Knock it off Napoleon, make yourself a dang quesadilla!” and “Tina, you fat lard,” it was a given that this comedy film would be a cult classic. It had deadpan and strange humor that kept us watching till the very last second. We’re not sure if you enjoy this type of comedy, but we’re sure you were craving tater tots when you first saw it. Didn’t we all do it?
