In the opinion of the general public, the reason that Prince William and Kate Middleton did not appear to have a lot of passion for one another was that they were both working. It was clear to all of us that kissing, embracing, or holding hands while on duty was unacceptable behavior. In addition to this, the royal couple would not have shown their unrestricted affection for one another, particularly in the eyes of the general public or the media. They were both aware of the duties and responsibilities that came with their position as monarchs.
