Searching Everywhere
Lydia searched every possible place—under the sofa, in Sara’s bed, even by calling the hospital to see whether they had it stashed away—but in vain. Finding the ring would be next to impossible as long as Sara’s items were still stuffed throughout the house. So she decided to sell some items.
Zero Money
Sara only rented a home; she didn’t own one. And she had hardly any savings. less even than Lydia had anticipated. All of Sara’s money was either already in Lydia’s pocket helping her move out or was being used to pay for all of the care she needed in her final weeks.
