A Pubic Persona
Following the octuplets, Nadya received the same level of media attention. This drew widespread condemnation from those who accused her of seeking attention and even claimed that she chose to have all of her children despite the risks. On the other hand, Nadya was preoccupied with adjusting to her new public persona and raising 14 children! She discovered that coping with her celebrity became increasingly difficult over time. Her pregnancy and delivery were already contentious, but Californians accused Nadya of wasting taxpayer funds and exemplifying virtually everything that is wrong with modern America, and she was even threatened!
