Nadya had already become a media sensation before her octuplets were born, with news channels, websites, and newspapers all reporting on her unusual pregnancy. Almost everyone knew her as Octomom. Nadya tried to keep control of the story and the various reports about her, and she considered using the attention to support her large family financially.
