Aqrabuamelu
The Aqrabuamelu was a hideous creature that was described in Babylonian mythology in ancient Mesopotamia. The creature looked like a mix of a scorpion and a man. It had the body of a scorpion but a human face, head, and torso. Despite their hideous appearance, the Aqrabuamelu was created to challenge the Gods. Aqrabuamelu, according to legend, acted as a protector to alert travelers.

Fauns
Fauns were also known as goat guys. Fauns can be found in Greek and Roman mythology. Satyrs, who had a goat’s leg and tail and a human upper body, were created by the god Pan. As shown in an illustration, some of them had a horn and a pointy ore. The creature’s job was to provide advice to the passing travelers.
