When he eventually found it out, he was shocked. He couldn’t believe what he was doing, but his body soon caught up with his mind. It instructed him to get out of the way, which he dutifully did! After seeing one of the chains start to pass by itself, he leaped and clung to the wall for his life.

The rope was swaying not only because of the wind but also because of its own weight. No, when the chain was going too quickly, someone must have been there. As quickly as he could, he turned around and returned to the gate. By the time he got outside, his pulse was racing, as was his brain.
