She Used To Be A Beauty Queen
A year before the birth of her daughter, Lynda Carter gained notoriety by winning the title of Miss Georgia USA. She entered a beauty contest when she was 21 years old and won it, bringing home the prize money. Because of this accomplishment, she was chosen to represent the state of Arizona at the 1972 Miss World America competition in Los Angeles, California. In the same year, she was a finalist in the international Miss World pageant, where she advanced to the semi-finals.
