It appears that Lynda Carter had other intentions for her time apart from performing on stage and in front of the camera. Her desire to create a family was expressed in the interview: “I want to start a family.” It’s past due. I’ve found the man I’ve been looking for. I’ve decided on where I want to live. My brother and sister are both parents of young children. They got their start when they were young. “I’ve waited, and now the time has come.”

And that’s exactly what she ended up doing. Lynda Carter and Robert Altman have stepped away from the limelight to embark on a new chapter in their respective lives. They moved to Maryland and had a son named James in 1988, after which they built a large house for themselves. This was followed two years later by the birth of a daughter named Jessica. People were curious as to whether she had any misgivings about it. She then admitted that she did not, after giving it some serious thought.
