No ones’ answering
Michael began phoning the front desk to inquire as to what in the world was going on, but all she said was that he would have to wait for a doctor to show there and that they were worried he might wander the hospital alone. The security personnel were present for that reason.
He didn’t know what to do
Michael was completely baffled by this procedure. He had worked at this hospital for a long time, but he had never before heard of somebody being so carefully watched. What did the nurses expect him to do if he was left alone in the hospital? Or was there something else going on?
