Tiger Woods first made an appearance on television all the way back in 1978. At the time, he was no more than 2 years old! Whoa. That is definitely an incredible accomplishment for someone so young. At the time, he putted against Bob Hope on The Mike Douglas Show.

The following year, the three-year-old Tiger pulled off a 48 over nine holes at the Cypress Navy course. When he was five, he appeared in Golf Digest as well as “That’s Incredible” on ABC. It sure looked like bright things were in store for him! Despite everything, no one understood that he was going to become such a big golf star back then.
