They carefully removed the snake from its nest and placed it in the trunk of one of the largest vehicles that were present, which Mark was a part of. Because they had run out of the sedative, they had to rush to move the snake before it regained consciousness and escaped their grasp. After that, Mark became aware of something else.

There were a couple of eggs that needed protecting that was tucked away underneath the snake. Mark came to the conclusion that he should also take the eggs because doing so would make the snake less anxious in the event that it did awaken. They required that the temperature be maintained.
