It’s Illogical
The staff at the animal shelter had never even seen something remotely like, so they had no idea why this was happening. The explanations for constantly bringing back the poor animal sounded too weak and superficial. They were also so distinctive that at least some of them had to be made. Benji was described as being very active by some and as not even getting out of bed by others. Benji received criticism for his extreme enthusiasm from certain people. Some stated he was hostile with other dogs, but others claimed he avoided the park because he was afraid of the other dogs.

Benji’s choices at the animal shelter were exhausted, so they chose to re-adopt him. But he could not live out the rest of his days in the shelter. Nobody thought that this miserable dog would ever find a home where he could live out the rest of his days after being returned for the eleventh time. Additionally, it was clear that the puppy, with whom everyone at the shelter had formed a close bond, was starting to feel the effects of being caught in this never-ending cycle of pain. Every time he went back to the case, they could clearly see that his eyes lost some of their luster. That was disastrous.
