Introduce yourself to John Reinke. He is one of the rare people who has experienced handling and raising young huge animals. He has been looking after Tony the tiger and Bonedigger the lion since they were orphaned cubs. The three created, to put it mildly, an unusual family. But John saw a link between his “kids” right away. Tony would treat John harshly, and Bonedigger would come and howl!

Health Concerns
You should be aware that the cub has experienced health issues since birth. Bonedigger’s bones were metabolically weakened and more brittle than typical. Most affected animals with the same disease do not survive to adulthood. In contrast, Bonedigger overcame the challenges and was a survivor.
