It seems Benji had arrived earlier that day. Because he had not seen any of the posters, the person looked for Benji’s owner. Benji still had the shelter’s phone number on his collar, so when he couldn’t find him, he planned to call them. What a result! He was simply strolling about the house with Benji at the moment, thinking he was dealing with a well-behaved puppy. The cat followed him into the room to investigate and see what was going on. Stacy had a hunch that Benji was not right.

Benji got a realization and simultaneously started attacking the man’s cat. The cat was able to escape when the man came in time to stop Benji from hurting the cat and take the dog instead. The man quickly put Benji in his cat cage after the incident. He thought that this was the best strategy to protect Benji and his cat. Then he called the emergency number and explained the circumstance. The shelter told him to call Stacy and make plans for her to pick him up after explaining the puppy, which he did. Fortunately, Benji didn’t get hurt.
