The event marked the 50th anniversary of the birth of the state. A gold and white 1957 Plymouth Belvedere was left inside as a memento. Hence, “Miss Belvedere” became its affectionate moniker. Miss Belvedere, it turns out, still had a lot to shock the residents of Tulsa with fifty years later.
