He made arrangements to have the locks changed that day by calling a locksmith. Nobody could blame him for wanting to avoid all contact with Layla in the future. Layla had horribly broken his confidence and even made an effort to get anything from it.

Later, Layla and her child were taken to a hospital, where they both were doing well. As she recovered after childbirth, her mother and sister were with her the entire time. She tried phoning Sam several times since she was so ashamed of what she had done. She didn’t want to live without him and had no intention of allowing it to occur.
