Ted Nugent rose to prominence in the 1960s as the guitarist for the psychedelic rock band “The Amboy Dukes.” From 1975 on, he went on to have a highly successful solo career. If you don’t know Nugent for his epic guitar solos, you’ve probably heard of him as an activist. He is an outspoken supporter of gun ownership and one of the most well-known National Rifle Association board members. He is a Republican Party supporter and a conservative icon. In 2022, he published his debut album, “Detroit Muscle.”
