Andrew Jackson’s Inauguration Party
In the eyes of the general public, President Andrew Jackson held a particular attraction that led them to assume that he was one of their own. He and his entourage were supposed to go to the executive home after his inaugural speech to kick off the festivities, but things didn’t go quite as smoothly as they had hoped. Upon entering the estate and following the celebration, a big group of people converged on the building. Hello, how are things going with you? Heavily intoxicated, they wrecked the kitchen, fouled the venue, and generally made a mess of themselves. They were eventually dispersed after the alcohol was moved to a more accessible position.
