Locals would understandably be interested in knowing more about the drainage and cleaning process – after all, who wouldn’t be? As workers resumed their work, onlookers gathered around the canal to watch the whole thing happen. Maybe in the midst of the madness, Parisians were looking for a long-lost item? Maybe they were only looking for a relaxing activity that included some time spent outside? We’re certain we’d love to see such an event.
