Naturally, the press was clamoring for a sight of Diana’s gown. She and the gown’s designers (Emanuel’s), as previously stated, took extreme security steps while designing the gown. After presenting the sketches to Diana, they tore them up, just in case someone peeked. They also erected a safe in their studio to keep the designs secure and private.

Wedding Gifts
It’s not unexpected that the couple was flooded with gifts. The royal pair received a bespoke porcelain centerpiece as well as an engraved Steuben glass tray from the Reagans! Both were great. This was just one of the many beautiful gifts they received. A rare Scotch gin, a sapphire and diamond watch, and even 100-year-old silk mittens were among the gifts they received.
