It was discovered by the individuals who rescued her that she had weak muscles, which made walking difficult. She couldn’t even bring herself to raise her head to eat or drink anything. She had fully lost her appetite, and she had absolutely lost her desire to continue living.

“Blackfish” is a documentary that uncovered commercial fishers who abducted baby whales from the ocean and sold them to amusement parks such as Sea World for monetary gain. Sheila’s experience has been harrowing, which isn’t all that unusual in this situation. Because creatures are constantly exploited for entertainment purposes, the vast majority of these species are not properly cared for, resulting in their having a short and wretched existence. Sheila’s rescuers had strong hopes that she will not face the same difficulties that she did.
