Practical house
When it came to the condition of his house, Thomas Ravaux spared no expense. Before the tenants moved in, he took care of everything from plumbing to painting the walls. The owner personally cleaned the hardwood floors, painted the walls and fixed the plumbing. The apartment was finally ready for its new tenants after all these preparations. Ravaux had faith that the young family could make the decision to make it their home.
The before and after
The owner was evidently careful about details. It is safe to say that he was a perfectionist looking at the other apartments he had for sale. Ravaux was different from many landlords, who don’t care enough to renovate their spaces before they move in. He spent a lot of time fixing everything before he put the apartment up for rent. Like any other landlord, he expected his tenants to value it and keep it in perfect condition, as he had. He would soon realize how wrong he was.
