“Why am I being fired?” John pressed, his voice increasing with desperation. His supervisor avoided eye contact. “I can’t talk about it, John. “Please just leave,” he said, his tone firm. John’s perplexity grew. What may be on that film to elicit such a strong reaction? But his employer remained mute, barriers up, refusing to reveal any information that could assist John comprehend.
