Roosevelt’s Death
In the eyes of many, he was one of the greatest presidents in American history, and his death would be a cause of national sadness throughout the country. According to official documents, Roosevelt died on April 12, 1945, as a result of an intracerebral hemorrhage in his brain. Unfortunately, President Franklin D. Roosevelt would not be living to witness the end of World War II in person.
