The Living Things In The Water

The workers had to drain the canal until just 50 centimeters of water remained. They waded across the river, searching for objects and living “things” that had taken up residence there. The working party caught a total of five tons of carp, cod, and bream! They then relocated the fish to more suitable breeding grounds. Before relocating the fish, they carefully weighed and labeled it. Even if the new location wasn’t ideal for them, it was always preferable to the alternative.
