Lengthy Ordeal
When the water is slowly drained into the River Seine, staff will spend hours ensuring that it runs smoothly. A lot of work has been done, from relocating fish caught in the canal to fully renovating the canal’s four double locks. Some worn-out small parts must, of course, be replaced. The entire process will take about three months from start to finish.
