The stress of planning a wedding can be difficult for any bride, but it was too much for Princess Diana! She appeared to be under duress, as evidenced by her looks. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she began to lose weight, making it difficult for her to fit into her gown. She has gone through 15 fittings to ensure that the garment fits her perfectly. “Every time she turned up for a fitting, she had lost more weight,” noted Elizabeth Emmanuel in an interview. “We put it down to nerves. But it did make it incredibly difficult for us to get on with making the dress.” The morning of the wedding, she was sewed into the dress.
