French-born actress Sophie Marceau enjoyed huge success doing various acting projects in Europe for more than thirty decades. When she was younger, she quickly became popular and got cast in The World is Not Enough as Elektra King. She continued to land big roles, most notably in Braveheart, the Oscar-winning film by Mel Gibson, and in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, alongside Robin Williams. Still, Marceau would rather do French films than American ones.
