Eunice Gayson
The Bond girl that started it all, Eunice Gayson, starred in the 1962 Bond film Dr. No and the 1963 installment From Russia With Love. Originally, Gayson was to play Miss Moneypenny’s character, but she ended up portraying Sylvia Trench, the first film crush of James Bond. The studio thought about letting Gayson play a recurring role, but they nixed that idea in the end. Still, Eunice Gayson will always be known as the first Bond girl.
