Lil’ Kim Then
Liz Jones (born Kimberly Denise Jones) is an American rapper who was reared in Brooklyn. She started rapping when she was a teenager and has been rhyming ever since. The late Notorious B.I.G. (Christopher Wallace) introduced her to the world of hip hop when she hooked up with him and his party, the Junior Mafia, in 1995 to get her big break. She was only 19 years old at the time of the incident. In 1995, Kim and Biggie began dating, and the two remained together until Biggie’s death in 1997. It was released in 1996 that Lil’ Kim’s debut studio album, “Hard Core,” came out. The album was awarded double platinum due to the inclusion of the producers’ number one hits. Kim’s two subsequent albums each achieved platinum status, confirming her as a great musical force.
