She believes that the 1980s eyelid surgery she underwent “gave her hematomas on her eyes for like three years.” according to Marysol, her daughter. Everybody knows that is an expensive quantity of money to spend on plastic surgery, and “Mama Elsa” is better recognized for her post-surgical state than she was during her prime of beauty. While Marysol asserts that her mother was virtually unrecognizable during that time period and during her subsequent treatments, she maintains that she does not recall Elsa receiving a facelift at the time.
