Boy George Now
Life did not go smoothly for Boy George once the band broke up, and he struggled for a long period of time after that. Culture Club’s dissolution was precipitated by a sexual liaison between George and Jon Moss, the band’s guitarist, drug use, and the untimely death of their keyboard player due to an overdose, as he later revealed in interviews with Rolling Stone and other publications. After imprisoning and sexually raping a tenant’s child, he was sentenced to a significant amount of time in prison. Boy George has served the entirety of his term and is now trying a resurgence. He writes novels, designs apparel, takes photographs, and continues to compose music. He lives in New York City. Because of his genuineness and modesty, his most recent artistic work has received positive feedback.
