This is not his first turn

Thomas Ravaux had extensive experience in apartment rentals and this was not his first rodeo. He had bought, renovated and rented other apartments before this one. Previously, all of his tenants were good and didn’t cause him much trouble. Although the landlord was considered shrewd, when he first saw this seemingly ordinary couple, he didn’t find it worrisome. Little did he know that accepting the new tenants would be one of his worst nightmares.

Until the date of the first rental arrived, everything was going well. It appeared that the family had not paid the rent. Ravaux, a sympathetic landlord, accepted his mistake and decided to wait a little longer. The rent was nowhere to be found and weeks turned into months. The landlord was beginning to worry about the family and their unwillingness to pay the rent at this point. He called the bank and was informed that the family had not made any payments in the last four months, which he confirmed.
