Elin could not believe what people were saying about the incident, which is why she wanted to clear her name. She only wanted to set things straight and then return to her life. Some of Tiger’s rabid fans went after her, however, and said her take on the story sounded unbelievable. They said there was no reason she would use golf clubs if she wanted to save him! For these fans, the media’s version sounded better.
