Interviewing Former Owners
Stacy checked her phone and saw that she had missed multiple calls from the homeless shelter. It is no longer possible to keep this information a secret. She snatched Benji away from the man and apologized fervently. She came to the conclusion that she had to defend herself to keep the shelter safe. She took Benji back to the shelter after that. When Stacy arrived, she discovered that other staff members had already contacted several of Benji’s prior owners to find out whether or not they agreed with her account of the dog. These chats produced some fascinating conclusions.
