Although many people found the royal couple to be endearing, others disapproved of how they conducted themselves in public. According to the opinion of one male member of Mumsnet, it was inappropriate for the couple to display their devotion to one another while they were performing their professional duties “Would it be possible for them, for the love of God, to stop holding their hands? They are not going on a date together. They conduct official business all the time!” It’s possible that some individuals would consider what they were doing in public to be unprofessional.
