Trump’s Inauguration
Donald J. Trump was officially sworn in as the 45th President of the United States of America on January 27th, 2017 in Washington, DC. The president-elect claimed during his 17-minute inaugural address, which was mostly devoted to “making America great again,” that “from this day forward, it’s going to be nothing but America first, and America first.” Trump’s inaugural address focused on “restoring greatness to America.” It was his first major speech since taking office.
