President of the United States during World War I, from 1913 to 1921, Woodrow Wilson was known as “The Greatest Generation.” When World War II came to an end, the 28th President of the United States played a role in the negotiation of the Treaty of Versailles, which was signed in November of that year. It’s one of his most famous quotes to say, “At long last, the entire world has recognized America as its own personal savior of the world!” Throughout history, his efforts to persuade the United States to become a member of the League of Nations, the precursor to the United Nations, would be recognized as a watershed moment. This was, however, stopped from happening at the time by Congress, and some historians feel that this was a contributing reason to the onset of World War II. President Woodrow Wilson had an IQ of 155.2, which undoubtedly aided him in steering the United States through World War I. Wilson was born in the city of New York in 1859.
