Support system
Family and friends continued to assist me reconstruct my life. Aunt Lisa and Uncle Tom made frequent visits, bringing home-cooked meals and encouraging words. My best friend was always there, ready to cheer me up with a hug or a joke. Their unflinching support made me realize that I wasn’t alone. We infused fresh life into the house, making it seem like home for the first time.
