The fact that this was an old house was no secret to Mandy. The item was well-maintained, although it still required some minor adjustments here and there. Sanding down and re-varnishing a few of the flooring was something that needed to be done. Despite the fact that Mandy cherished the ancient Victorian appearance of the property, she was aware that it required some updates.
