James was able to recall the key that he had discovered in the last vent. It’s possible that this one had the same secrets. He believed that it would be good to give it a shot in order to find out if the solution to all of their concerns was waiting for him there.

James examined the vent in question. It was easy for him to understand why it was not included in the blueprints for the new house. It appeared as though it had been a part of the house from the beginning. In spite of the fact that it was rusted shut, he was unable to wrench it open.
