She was clearly handled as though she were a member of the family. When the cops began to close in on the girls, David requested that they not harass Shelia and Rachel because they were his child’s best friends. As if that weren’t enough, he even gave them a place to stay until they could find their own. He continued to make sure that Shelia and Rachel were taken care of and had somewhere safe to go. They truly seemed like family members with the way David was always looking out for them.
