One of the pilots exited the cockpit and told the girl to calm down. If she didn’t stop right away, he threatened to make an emergency landing. This calmed the girl down, and the chaos subsided a little. The excitement, though, was still coursing through Maria’s veins.

Her pulse rate returned to normal, and she felt a bit pleased of herself. She had fought for herself, and it had paid off! She hadn’t moved her hair out of her seat since she’d sat down again. Maria then discovered something that astonished her.
