Preserving Steel Wool
In addition to cleaning your dishes and kitchen sink, steel wool is an excellent tool for removing gunk from your kitchen sink. Not disposing of it until rust has begun to form on it is the best course of action. Wrap it tightly in aluminum foil and store it in the freezer to extend its shelf life as much as possible.
