The baby deer made a break for it… or, at the very least, attempted to learn how to walk properly.. Perhaps he’s also on the prowl for some sustenance as well. After all of the aid offered by the lioness, don’t you think the little guy should be treated with a bit more respect? Unfortunately, he has a sneaky sensation that danger is lurking just around the corner.

With her tongue hanging open, the lioness looks to be delighted by the deer’s pathetic attempt to flee, as she simply picks him up and places him back in her mouth. He has no plans to leave the country. A few minutes later, the photographer noted that the lioness had re-entered the forest and was on their way again. We sincerely hope that the story does not come to a disappointing finish. –
