Why Your Cat Hisses
Most people instinctively understand that a hissing cat is not a happy animal. They usually hiss when they are angry or annoyed. However, when they are terrified, they hiss. If they feel endangered by a stranger in the house or another animal, they will hiss to alert you. If you hear hissing, keep away since they’d prefer cool down than be petted.
